Sizing & Fit
Our heavyweight faded tee has a relaxed, boxy cut with dropped shoulders and room through the body. It uses the AS Colour Heavy Faded Tee 5082. Compare a T-shirt you already like with the chart below to choose your preferred fit.
Compare your T-shirt
Lay your reference T-shirt flat, without stretching it. Measure straight across from armpit to armpit for width, and from the high shoulder beside the neckline to the bottom hem for length. Use the T-shirt’s measurements, not your body’s.
Garment measurements
Relaxed, boxy fit with dropped shoulders. 240 GSM (7.1 oz/yd²), 100% carded cotton.

These are flat garment measurements. Width is measured across the shirt, not around the chest. Select inches or centimetres above; centimetres are converted from the original US inch values and rounded to one decimal place. Allow for manufacturing variation of up to 1 in (2.54 cm). The matcher finds the closest chart dimensions; it does not guarantee fit or stock availability.

The first collection uses a heavyweight faded tee. Here’s what goes into it.
- 240 GSM cotton
- A substantial fabric weight for a structured look. That’s 7.1 oz per square yard.
- 100% carded cotton
- Heavyweight cotton fabric, chosen as the canvas for our graphics.
- A relaxed cut
- A boxy body with dropped shoulders and room through the sleeves.
- Garment-dyed finish
- Faded colour, finished with a wide ribbed neckline.
- Pre-shrunk fabric
- Pre-shrinking helps reduce shrinkage. Cotton can still change with washing, so follow the care guide below.
What does GSM mean?
Grams per square metre: the weight of the fabric. At 240 GSM, this is a heavyweight T-shirt.
Taking care
A little care for the cotton and the print:
- Use a cold machine wash with similar colours.
- Avoid bleach and dry cleaning.
- Skip the tumble dryer; hang to dry in the shade.
- Do not iron printed garments.
Follow your garment’s care label and any additional instructions supplied for its print.
The print
Each shirt is printed to order. Some designs have a chest print; others also have artwork on the back. Check the product views for your chosen design, colour and placement.
The organic cotton size guide is a reference only. That style is not currently confirmed for the collection.
